The Structural and Thermal Model (STM) was developed for the following purposes:
- To validate the structure and mechanical design.
- To validate the satellite thermal control design.
- To verify the compatibility between satellite and MGSE.
The STM was developed as the Qualification Model (QM) but with sensors and electronics board replaced with dummy devices.
